The Metro pointed out that not only is it Friday 13th but that for the first time in 450 years the digits in the date 13-10-2006 also added up to 13 – doubly unlucky. Well only if you believe that, otherwise you’re a nerd who frowns on such superstition. But the third option is to claim the coincidence, & claim the luck. Of course I did see a bus get stuck against a bollard trying to turn a corner onto Hammersmith Road but that’s another story..

PS: Came across a new beer tonite made out of the same yeast as champagne. Talk about having your cake and eating it when faced with champagne taste but beer money!
