Some guys broke into the flat last night, thanks to the new security gate they only got away with two light items, a flat screen (good choice) and a Playstation 2 (thanks for getting rid of that). They left through a window.

Epilogue: new window locks, new HP screen, new towel from Selfridge’s, new PSP (which has come in useful), new Grade II listed property in Leicester in November 2007. Cheers guys!

Social networking past its peak?

From this story in Valleywag looks like social networking (via buzzmeter) is past its peak?
I dunno, maybe I got out just in the nick of time. Hey, you spin it anyway you want. Maybe this means the maturation of the social networking market?

“Mentions in the press of “social network” or another even uglier phrase, “social networking”, reached 1,158 in September, but have declined since. That could mean a decline in media interest in sites like Myspace and Facebook or, more likely, an acceptance that all media will be social, all successful sites will allow users to “friend” eachother, and that it’s no longer interesting to spotlight a feature so ubiquitous.”
