In light of the fact I will be doing video work in Chicago soon it prompted me to remember earlier success when working at Mental Health Media on the Headlines project in getting Les Bailey on to Channel 4’s Weekly Planet discussion programme to talk about the issues he faced as a black mental health user. Admittedly that was ten years ago now, so I’m a bit rusty.

IBM jam — the insider’s view
Hooking up with someone who recently worked for IBM I asked how the internal IBM innovation jam went (‘WORLD JAM’). Apparently the drive for innovation meant there was more than one collaborative jam discussion, with the US leading Europe. That sounds like wasteful overlap, but bearing in mind IBM’s expertise in complexity maybe smarter than it first appears? In the overlap of such collaborations is perhaps intentional to in a self-organised kinda way to suggest where the answers lay?
