Perhaps the most interesting tit bit from yesterday’s eBay university was highlighting of eBay Pulse – a tracking service (“a daily snapshot of current trends, hot picks, and cool stuff on eBay2) for the most popular key word terms which you can drill down into by catergory. Helps ensure the use of the right keywords, and generally to check what’s going on.

Only a moron would buy YouTube – aka ‘fitting’
Loved the Valleywag piece on billionaire Cuban’s remarks about the worthless valuation of YouTube. What’s different as the Valleywag piece says is that this dot-com-bubble-time-round is that it’s (social network) bloggers who are taking aim at over-valued social network sites. Nice fit, or plain ‘fitting’ if you prefer a one worder.
